1950s National League Baseball ID help?

Found this ball for what I thought to be a great deal. Some autographs are quite faded while others remain good. I was able to get an ID on some of them but need help. As always the help is always greatly appreciated!!!

Red Schoendienst, Billy B???, Harry Hanebrink, Billy Herman

Bob Rush?, ?????, ????? Whit Wyatt?,

These two might be long gone but I tried to use a program to bring them back!

The second one in picture #1 is Billy Bruton.
The second one in picture #2 is Carl Sawatski.
I think the second one under the Spalding logo is Gene Conley.

Wes Covington above Gene Conley. It looks to be a 1958 Milwaukee Braves ball. Could that possibly be Eddie Matthews between Sawatski and Wyatt. Could be Bob Rush above Sawatski. I see Harry Hanebrick. Coach Billy Herman below Hanebrick. The ball is off the charts cool. Schoendienst, Herman and if that's Matthews makes 3 hall of famers.

If it is the Braves, it would be missing Spahn and Aaron, right?

Yes. The ball has 11 signatures, 2 of which are coaches. So most of the team didn't sign this ball. Still a great find by the OP.

Thanks guys! Sure looks like Eddie Matthews to me! I paid $50 for the ball and I think it was worth it just to ID the signatures on it. Now the real question is which side to display!

Also, based on the players that signed, I believe this ball is from the 1958 season when the Braves lost the World Series in seven games to the Yankees.

Great find. Unfortunate on the fading.

Do the signatures look good to you guys? To me they do, but I just want to check!

I'm certainly no expert but I'd say the ball is the real deal. Now did a club house guy sign for some of the players- that's always a possibility.

Personally I'd display the Mathews but the Schoedienst & Herman side would be good, too.
