Thick card subs question

I have some thick factory auto/memorabilia cards that I was thinking of submitting to PSA. Is there a different process? Can I sub regular cards on the same order? Price difference? Thanks in advance.

    I subbed a thick card from 2018 National Treasures and was charged the regular service level. No upgrade.

    I've always separated them .. not sure why I do that
