A shout out to those who served and to remember those that served with us that didn't come home.
Whatever the conflict or call to duty, we went and did our time...and our thankful to be alive.
I'm not sure why people say "Happy Memorial Day"...to me it's a very somber reminder of a time long ago, and far away and to think of close friends we once knew. No matter a relative or close friend, never forget them.
For me...Lai Khe, Can Tho, DiAn and Long Binh, Vietnam, 1st Infantry Division, November 1969 - November 1970. To those who were there, a simple, "welcome home" as only you could understand and appreciate the sentiment.
Some gave all, all gave some

Those of us who haven't served can never truly understand the hell you guys went through. Thanks to all who have served.
