ANACS Question

I won my first ANACS graded coin last night on ebay and was surprised by the price I got it for. It was an Austrian Thaler and it made my wonder about ANACS's reputation in regards to world coins. Maybe I just got lucky. Thanks.

IMO ANACS is overall really accurate on world coins.

I'm not really sure about ANACS per se, but if you liked the coin, that should be enough. Sounds like a nice coin. What year is it?

Hey, it is a 1737 Austrian Thaler AU 55 "3 below bust." The grade seemed correct, I was just surprised by the price. I may be wrong in regards to that assumption.

That coin has such a beautiful design! Sometimes you can find really good deals in eBay auctions, so I'm sure it's graded accurately.

Thanks! My 3 best buys this year have all been on eBay. Has made me scared to sell anything on it to be honest.

I would be less concerned about the plastic and grade than the actual look of the coin.
