The cert number has already been deactivated, so the error must have been caught.
That explains it.

I guess I'm confused. Someone has the card in hand for sale. And the cert number has been deactivated (which I have never heard of before as a side note). So what are the sequence of events? Someone at PSA saw the card and recognized it was not worthy of the grade so "deactivated" the cert number? How exactly does that help potential buyers in the future?
