Beam Team variations

I'm very very late to the world of 1992-93 Basketball cards, but I'm a huge Zo fan, and it's hard to ignore the prices for Jordans and Shaqs happening...therefore I am dabbling wherever I can. Lately I've been looking for/at Beam Team cards, recalling the other kids RAVE about them around the time I stopped collecting and started chasing girls.

When sifting through Beam Team cards/sets, I see Topps, Topps Gold, and Stadium Club,and then sometimes Members Choice? Which Beam Team sets/subsets were most desirable then, and is that still true today? I'm a long time bulk submitter so I have a keen eye for condition, but what do I need to know about scarcity/variations while treasure hunting? thx
