experience about photographing skill

I tried to put two lamps near the coin when I was taking photos for silver coins, two lamps can make the coins show more luster. Then use some software to pick the coin from the original photos, because we don't want to see the plastic holder. In addition, the background of these coins is white (except the 2 mark of Baden), because black background can make the silver coin looks yellow , the coin from Baden is a good example (the last photo).
Can you show your photographing experience here ? My friends.

This picture showing the same coin with black background (left) and white background (right). the coin on the right side looks better.
The picture on the right is better because of the extra lamp, but I think your lights are still too low because there is a lot of dark on the coin, still. If you are having color issues, calibrate the white balance to a gray card, white balance card, or piece of white paper. Post a picture of your photo setup and I'll let you know what to do.
In general, two lamps close to the camera lens, but far enough away to not get a glare from the slab. From there, manipulate the lights to satisfy your eye for detail.
