I do not collect football mostly just baseball and hockey but where i live people have been moving in and out and leaving items behind that later the super tosses into a dumpster so he can get the place ready for the next family .. we had 3 move in and out in the last month and i go by the bin every day when i stretch my legs or go for groceries.. today i went to see what was there and pulled out 2 binders and a shoe box with cards in em.. i have cleaned the binders and put most of ones in the box into holders.. ill just load a few of what i saved. I do not know if any have value but am just glad could save most of the cards. there are 12 pages of cards in each binder and if wish to see any others ill be glad to load in pics.

Nice score! I always loved that Terry Bradshaw card with the image of him sitting on the sideline. I used to dig throug the dumpsters at night at my old apartment complex when people moved out. I found all kinds of stuff in there, cd's, dvd's, all kinds of stuff. It was an adventure every time I climbed into that dumpster.
The CFL cards are 1960 Topps. They are relatively scarce.
What you show are all CFL HOFers.
Jackie Parker is the NFL Joe Namath
Overall some very nice cards.
In 1960 Look for the Joe Kapp RC
1948-76 Topps FB Sets
FB & BB HOF Player sets
1948-1993 NY Yankee Team Sets
I spent the afternoon going through the binders, it isn't a complete set .. am guessing 1/2 the set is there . I also went through the shoe box as well . the 2nd binder had Phil Simms RC (slighty o/c) and the shoe box provided 2 more cfl cards , Ron Howell and Harry Lampman . the shoe box also seems to be a mix of a few Pro Set football , topps and o-pee-chee hockey and baseball . pulled 2 emmit smith RC's , Frank Stams Rc , a playoff sterling sharpe , and around 12 1988 topps jets cards ,1 Roberto Clemente as well as a 1958 Fred Hatfield . a small handful of 1987 o-pee-chee hockey (24 cards poor to fair condition ) , and lots of 80's-90's topps baseball . mostly commons and minor stars .
Good rescue from the dumpster of death. Always surprised what people will discard.
thanks . i'm not here where i live .. i've found lots of stuff thrown out here when people move and leave stuff behind.. paintings ( sold one for $150 , hung the other on my wall ) , display cabinets from the bombay company ( using them for my books and manuscripts ) , movies and cd's , anime statues , collectors plates . etc .. my dad has begun calling my apt the museum of finds .. ill post some of the other cards from the shoebox as soon as can
Dumpster diving at its best!
here's a few more of what i found and this is a pic of the pile i rummaged through and the dumpster . the blue bin to the far left had the shoe box and the bin had the binders. i wont post more as pretty well the rest is 86-91 topps baseball , 1990-1991 upper deck hockey and baseball and some 1989 - 1990 bowman ( no griffey RC ) . usually its junk or broken items and sometimes its been searched before I get to it . cept a few things ive kept to display in my apt ( plates , pop bottles and a few anime statues ) this is the first search to reveal sports
Nice score!
I wouldn't be surprised to find a bunch of Kaepernick or Manziel cards in the garbage can but not something like this. Congrats!
thanks its my first Sports score from there.. ill have to show some other stuff i picked up next time
Nice little find there and ya can't beat the price.
Man, when I moved out, I usually just left all my garbage in the apartment and ran like heck.
