80s boxes and cases question

Hey everyone - I’m not a card collector but know someone who is cleaning out a building that is full of cards.
There are lots of boxes and cases of cards unopened along with pallets of cards that are open.
Not sure if anyone is nearby Connecticut that might be interested or if shipping is worth it.
Here is an example of what they have - he was asking 35 bucks for each of these - no clue if that’s good

That is a 1988 Donruss blister rack case....not very desireable, Are those the only cases available? ....Here is what the packs look like:
