I just noticed this coin on ebay and I suspect it is a counterfeit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bavaria-Historian-1828-Blessing-of-the-Himmels-Better-than-XF-Nswleipzig-silver/153915126958?hash=item23d60e74ae:g:mR0AAOSwKpdegFLV

I've seen that bump on the forehead before on other examples of this type, and I recall them being counterfeit. I checked some known authentic types and it is never there. That seller is selling some other Thalers, and is located in China. It wouldn't be crazy to think it's all counterfeit.

These fakes (German/Swiss thaler types, plus others) were proliferating on eBay from a ring of Chinese sellers showing U.S. locations about 4-6 years ago.

I have noticed a few using the same techniques popping up again recently... SO similar with descriptions and style that they might be the same same people.
