Restall Medals

I particularly like the medals that came out of the presses of Restall. Normally, I only collect the silver, but this bronze was in marvelous condition and inscribed. I was able to locate Elizabeth Lucy Hare on the web, and it seems she was an accomplished photographer, for the time.

Especially neat as you found the recipient! Makes the medal way more fascinating. Do you collect Restalls in general? I know some of your themes, but this one I don't recall.
I have a bronze Restall one I purchased due to the 'after Wyon' design. 'After Wyon' but a lot closer to Wyon than some of the new stuff.
Restall would interesting to know more about. I have not done my homework there.
and my much fancier silver Restall (also after Wyon, you see the theme here right
). An older photo, I need to dig this medal out and admire it again.
I do collect Restall and also Ottley, in particular. However, I will not hesitate to pick up an award medal from other firms, if they are attractive and inscribed. I also have a Young Mens' Christian Institute, that I picked up from Donald Young eight years ago. I will post it in a bit.
