Byzantine Amorian Dynasty

Sometimes it does not take much to inspire me to look into new numismatic subjects. A friend of mine was telling me about the Greek Orthodox holy woman Kassiani. I found out that she had been spurned by Theophilus, because she dared to talk back to him. Soon . . . . Here is two folles, one featuring Michael II and his son Theophilus, the other Theophilus. And thank you, Civitas!

Those are nice and in pretty good condition to most the byzantine Copper/bronze I have seen in the past.
