COIN OF THE DAY (6/27): 1954(s) WASHINGTON CARVER (PCGS-MS66) (POP TOP) (est. pop 9/0).

Here is a fabulous brilliant (off-white) 1954(s) Washington Carver grading PCGS-MS66! Finest known coin. Nice clean surfaces, great strike, luster and appeal and, imho, immensely underrated. When you consider that Registrycoin owns one in his set and I own one in my "modest" Commem set, there are only 7 coins left in the world in this grade, including this coin available!! Geez, I would assume there are at least -7- serious classic Commem collectors in the country that might want a pop top Commem!!! If this was a pop 9/0 modern silver Commem in MS70, the "whole world" would be chasing it!! Is there any doubt a coin like this will soon have its "day in the sun"? Please PM me if you are seriously interested in this coin. image Wondercoin.

    Wondercoin --

I'm almost tempted, but if the PCGS price guide is to believed, the 54s C-W must have one of the highest MS66 to MS65 price ratios of any coin!
