@outhaul is 100% correct. It's an egg for sure. A christening token.

I love that one. I would buy it back and own it again if I were still doing anything with love tokens. I sold it in order to move on to other things, but I'm still tempted to bid. It's a special, unique piece.

Pictorials like this are scarce, and quite rare on gold.
