My 1955 US cent is doubling or is that just a D ?

The nine, no question it has a D mm, pushing it's self through.
Reverse looks like it went Postal so I wont put you through the angony.

Post-mint damage. The second five may have some doubling but the damage makes it difficult to make any firm call. In that condition it wouldn't have any collector value.

    All glory is fleeting.

Interesting none the less. Always nice to see something different. Peace Roy

The last 5 has die erosion (the infamous "poor man's doubled die).

The 9 has damage. nothing more
The fact that the reverse is also heavily damaged confirms this.

When a coin has heavy damage then it can be assumed that any strange anomalies are the result of that.
