Hello Collectors Universe, I wanted to share a project that I am just bringing to a close - a 28" x 20" 1960 Topps Carl Yastrzemski made from cut up baseball cards. The Yaz rookie is one of my favorite cards and it happens to be very well-suited for this type of art. Thanks for looking!

Damn, that looks amazing! Great job!
That's awesome! Incredible work.
Well done. That looks great.
That's incredible. I wish I had that kind of talent (and patience).
Truly amazing. How do you map out how to cut which cards into what shape? Also, how do you get so much detail?
Thanks, you can learn about my process here:

Insanely good! I wish the original had that kind of focus on his face.
AMAZING!
Wow!!! Are those yellow and blue background colors from the backs of Donruss cards? They sure look like them...

Really nice work. You should be proud.
It's too bad that the orange section couldn't have been solid, but I understand that would have required the pieces to have been cut much smaller (possibly making them unusable) to eliminate the writing on the larger orange pieces you used.
looks trimmed.
But seriously, amazing work.
Yep, the blue stripe is '88 Donruss and the orange background is '89 Donruss
