Joe Jackson T210 find.

Hayes Foster was a lawyer who was forced to retire due to medical issues, and his son Ben Foster was cleaning out his father's law office when he came across a lunch pail type container that contained his fathers baseball cards. He took the container home and looked through it, hoping to do an appraisal of the cards someday. The cards had been inherited from Ben's father by his great, great uncle. The opportunity to do an appraisal of the cards arose last December, so Ben looked throught them with his girlfriend, and they discovered 585 T206 cards, and a bunch of T210 cards with the red borders. Among the T206 cards were Ty Cobb and Cy Young, but no Honus Wagner was found. They weren't sure what they had with the T210 cards, and Ben was sitting in bed at 2.a.m. with his phone looking at websites, and he came across a list of the 10 most valuable baseball cards, and on the list was the T210 Jackson card he had come across in the container. He immediately jumped out of bed, and put the Jackson card into a hard case. He took the T210 cards to a card show in Raleigh to see if he could have them authenticated and he showed them to a few dealers, but did not show them the Jackson. The dealers said, they were authentic. He took a chance and later that day he told one of the dealers that he had the Jackson card and the dealer said, "you need to take that card to Heritage auctions." So Ben showed the card to Derek Grady of Heritage, who was absolutely blown away by the card, so Ben had the card graded, and it will be up for auction beginning on May 7th at Heritage auctions. A similar copy graded 3.5 sold in February of 2019 for $600,000
