Not sure, bit Gixen has always worked like a charm for me. Free and reliable

  • I think it was last yr (on the N54) that folks were having sniping issues not going thru. That Ebay system is find ways for it not to work.
I had as well. Many folks mentioned Gixen..i myself have moved to it, but not used it yet.

The Gavelsnipe website has been unreachable on and off for the past several weeks for me. At this moment, I cannot connect to it either

I remember that also and set up an account with Gixen at that time, but that issue was resolved and so I had gone back to using Gavelsnipe with no issues. Looks like I have to go back to Gixen again.

    Thanks, guys.

I used to use Gavelsnipe for years. After I started losing snipes when they had their issues last year, I switched to Gixen and Gixen mirror and I've never looked back.

I've never had an issue with Gavelsnipe. Gixen is fine too, but isn't there some kind of limit on how many snipes you get under the free service option?

Gavelsnipe was back up yesterday evening.

I never ran into limits that I recall but I invested the $6 for mirror after using it for a few months. I just gave up on gavelsnipe because they kept having issues off and on and I could no longer trust my snipes. There would be nothing worse than waiting for a year for a particular card to show up and then miss out on it because the snipe program crashed and burned.
