Crackout Resubmissions - Have you?

So before all of this Covid business began, I got back from my last submission a 1941 Wheaties Bob Feller handcut w/bio "face right" that graded out a 5 EX. I was really hoping it came back with a better grade, but observing the card over and over and trying to "see" what the grader saw that prompted the 5, I really believe that I had left too much panel. That being said, I'm very tempted to crack it out, redefine the cuts and resubmit. Thankfully this card was part of the free 15 card sub for new members. I think I'm going to do it at some point, but have you and did you gain a better grade by doing so? I'm kind of treating it similar to a visit to a favorite restaurant? The quality of the food largely depends on the chef cooking it, so would that be plausible that a better grade may be realized depending on the grader? I like to believe that ANY grading firm is mad consistent, but I doubt it, right? All opinions and/or comments are welcome. Stay safe out there all.
