Ebay Managed Payments

I searched the old threads and haven't seen an recent updates on how this is working.
Is anyone using it yet? I'm still on Paypal but I keep getting spammed by ebay to register for managed payments. Can they make you switch?

I started using it when they introduced it. Can't remember why exactly, but I think I thought it was a requirement to keep top rated status or something like that. Was nervous for the first transaction due to having to ship my item before the funds were in my account, but I have never had a problem so no need to worry. Funds are direct-deposited into your checking account instead of to paypal, so once you get used to having the money in hand a few days later than before, it is ok from there.
As a buyer, I don’t like it, as the payment process is a bit more confusing, but not that big a deal.
