Gretzky OPC rookie

With the Jordan rookie going crazy does anyone think that the Great one's rookie will get to numbers similar one day? I am not a hockey collector but if I had to get one card I was thinking that this would be the card to get.

    Gretzky has been flat for a bit IMHO. Maybe high end 79 OPC, nothing to the level of Jordan. Must need a documentary

    Centered 1st print run skate lines have always done well.

    PSA 9 Gretzky OPC rookies still fetch over $30K. That’s a helluva lot more than a Jordan 9.
