1998 Topps Chrome pack with Dirk showing on back...thoughts?

I received these in the mail today...came out of a sealed 2 retail pack hanger from the late 90s...the front and back cards of these packs are clearly visible...1 pack has #154 Dirk showing on the back and the other has a Scottie Pippen Back to Back insert showing...what are your thoughts on their value and should they be sent to PSA?

I’d keep the Dirk RC pack for sure! That’s pretty sweet. Not sure on the Pippen insert pack, but I’d imagine that’s got potential too. Good thing you looked.

Can you see if it says refractor or not? Either way,that seems like a definite PSA candidate imo. He's got a pretty strong following in multiple countries and I doubt there are many graded packs with his rookie showing out there if any at all. I spent quite a bit of money on packs/boxes that year chasing Paul Pierce rookies and I can't remember many packs where you could see which player was on top/bottom of the pile.

I can’t tell if it is a Refractor or not...wish I could lol...I checked the pop report and there are no 1998 Topps Chrome Basketball packs graded thus far

It might be worth it just for that fact alone. He'll be heading into the HOF in 2023 IIRC.
