Fairly recent submission to our hosts this 1925 S California is one of the most attractive classic commen designs. A '49er on the front and a grizzly bear on the back...how can you beat that? Anyway this particular coin is bright and flashy with plenty of luster offset by some subtle mottled toning that depending on the light and angle is russet colored. My cruddy photos make the toning look much darker than it really is as at first glance you might not even see the toning. I'll try and get some better photos if I can. No major hits, just minor marks here and those that are there are not really visible to the naked eye. Overall a nice example of the type! Slab is in good shape with minimal marks. Has not been submitted to CAC.
Price - How about the Price Guide price for an MS-62, $190.00 with free shipping. Most on eBay are a bit north of $200.00 so that should be a fair price.
