Russian currency - pre1917 large size notes

Covid-19 has given me some time to get organized. While cleaning out some bins, I found some notes I had tucked away over 2 decades ago. I figured they were lone gone. All well circulated (F/VF/EF), so no premiums to be found here as far as I am aware. The colors on these oversize notes are great.

The notes are all fairly common Shipov notes, but the 1 and 5 ruble notes were printed after the Soviet takeover on 7 November 1917 and have a shortened serial check number instead of a long serial number like the other notes.

I kinda like the border flourish designs on the largest ones. A roll of bills must have been quite the wad of cash. Thanks for sharing. Peace Roy

I love old style large notes that most countries had until the 1920s or so.

I've never really seem a wallet from that era. Must have been something to see. :p
