Original clean surfaces with sharp details for the grade and nice eye appeal. B-1 variety, which Tompkins lists as R-2. Photos accurately portray the silver-gray patina that is darker along the obverse periphery and pretty uniform on the reverse. There is a cool die crack on the reverse that runs from the rim above the second T, through the shield and ends around the fletching of the lower arrow. There is light clashing on the reverse, which is most evident around “25”. This is one of only two 1818/5’s that CAC has approved at the VF35 grade level. I have had successful BST transactions on this forum and can provide references. Preferred payment method is via check.
