Identify this please?

Hi folks,

Could I get some help identifying this coin please, a friend is asking and I have no idea? I don’t know if It’s ancient or some type of token?

    Now that is something I've never seen. If it is not some kind of replica or fantasy, I cannot wait to see what country issued it!

    Yeah, afraid that really looks like a "souvenir" type thing from a renaissance fair.

    It's not a coin - no denomination, no issuing authority, etc. It's not likely an official medal - the fake patina, lack of artist signature, etc. It's not historic - the horse rider might play loosely at traditional styles, but it isn't representative of any actual historical styles. And, just stylistically, that screams trinket - the gibberish letters on top, the pattern on back not seemingly representative of anything at all.

    Looks cast. The edge might confirm that.

    Size and weight might also help.
