    I can’t say with certainty about cleaning from just what’s there but I’d probably go xf45 as a net grade for the extra dings and such.

    45 to 50, but a lot of little nicks and dings.

    45 if it straight grades. Some scratches and obverse rim ding at 4 o’clock may detail it.

    Is the tail worn, or poorly struck? I see lack of detail in the saddle area and left leg. Looks poorly struck to me. I can't tell if it has hairlines so it could detail if they are there.

    Saddle detail. . . lack of detail in the rider's coat... wear in leg, + net for a cleaning. VF35 on a good day.
    Yes there is hidden luster among the lettering yet overall, if this was in an XF slab I think there would be room for complaints.
