HOW TO PRINT WORLD FLAGs ONTO 2x2 COIN FLIPs

I am trying to find the best labeler to use for my flips. I want neatly typed info but ESPECIALLY the ability to print a COLORED FLAG onto the flip. I have a MAC and am hoping there is a way to sync it to a labeler.
ALSO: Thermal or Ink? And it is hard to find 6 mm tape. Would 9 mm work?
Thanks very much for any help.

Are you trying to print onto the cardboard 2x2 or the insert for the mylar flip?

I have no idea for the former. The latter can be done by designing a table in a word format and importing a photo into one of the cells.

  • Tx Gene. I just noticed your specialty! I am VERY seriously thinking of focusing on a specific area and CANADA or AUSTRALIA are what I have been considering. Ha. Go figure.

best way I found is printing on address labels, the small ones used for the return address.
I can print a flag and a ton of other info. takes a while to set up and the printers register system will make you try it often to have it dead on. I have used these Avery labels for exactly that application and very soon will set it up again. I will try is with a laser color printer soon. previously I used an inkjet.
these labels fit dead on to the 2x4s. they are even available in clear.

  • Thank you! I think I am going another route: very heavy stock paper which will fill an entire 2x2 plastic slot for notebook binder sheets. I will use Pages on my Mac to print tons of info on both sides, including a flag. Next to the info card will be the coin, in its own 2x2 plastic slot (maybe still in a flip). Next to the Obverse, all the data; when you flip the page you get the Reverse with the back of the card with all of its data (including flag; I love flags!). This way I can have beautifully typed cards chock-full of info about each coin without crowding the whole thing onto a single 2x2 flip.
