New Grades along with updates to my Irish Shilling Date Set

ClioClio Posts: 548 ✭✭✭✭✭

Hello everyone! I'm sure you've seen my previous thread of shillings floating around but I wanted to make an updated post to give a progress report on the set. :) I also got some grades yesterday. I can only assume this was because my coins were in QA when PCGS was in shut so maybe they were already in the system and were able to post the grades? Anyways enjoy!

The log from my previous post:

1928 PCGS AU 58 - Upgrade recently purchased
1930 ex-NGC MS 62 - Off for grading at PCGS
1931 PCGS AU 58
1933 - RAW
1935 PCGS MS 64+
1937 ex-NGC AU53 - PCGS AU DET
1939 - RAW
1940 PCGS AU 55 - Upgrade recently purchased
1941 Off for grading at PCGS
1942 PCGS MS 65

My newest. Upgrades in bold
1928 PCGS MS65!
1930 PCGS AU58 (This was listed above as the NGC & downgraded at PCGS)

1937 PCGS AU-DET
1939 PCGS MS62
1940 PCGS MS63

Thanks to @ShadyDave for subbing on my behalf. Really stoked about these :) Hope everyone is staying safe.

Cheers!

The 1939 might not have gotten the super high technical grade, but I love the look!

The 1928 went AU58 to MS65? or different coin?

Different coin entirely! that would've been quite the jump! None of my crosses have been upgrades lol!
