[SOLD] German States (Saxony): silver spitzgroschen, Zwickau mint, dated 1477

No, "spitzgroschen" is not an unsanitary practice that will get you quarantined.

It is in fact an interesting early-dated coin. In this case, it is a silver coin from the year 1477, and actually dated with the Anno Domini year on the coin. If you're accustomed to medieval coins, you'll know that is not very common for European coins of the period before 1500.

This is the only coin I have ever owned that is listed in Levinson's "The Early Dated Coins of Europe, 1234-1500" reference.

I was asking $65 for it, but name your preferred price.

Swaps of Ancient, Medieval, World, or US coins or exonumia will also be considered.

I can be flexible on the price since it was a kind gift from @tibor, whose early-dated collection is truly amazing. It doesn't quite fit my parameters for my "Eclectic Box", so I'm swapping it (for something that does, maybe, or for 2-3 items I can put in the Giveaway Pick Bin).
