I picked these up today from a local antique shop .. (it was still open ) but I can't find anything about them on the net.. there are 4 pages of photos for the inaugural year. If someone could held me . the backs are blank and no identifying marks

they are individual player pictures that were issued to the press for use in articles, etc.....

Sorry OP, I know nothing about these.
I didn't realize Bobby Doerr was part of the team and found he was their hitting coach from 1977-1981. Bobby's previous job prior to that was the first base coach for the Red Sox until Dick Williams was fired in 1969.
So Doerr was, for all intents and purposes, retired for 8 years and at 60 years old, went north to help the hapless Blue Jays in their first four seasons. Yeesh, that's dedication to the game.
OP, sorry to hijack and thx for letting me share.

+1, I think I've seen them referred to as "press pack photos" or something similar. They are something that should be available for nearly all sports/teams, but you don't really see for sale very often. You can see the marks on this one where they've indicated the cropping ...
thankyou for the info . i cant find any on the net or ebay for sale at the moment.. do you know what they usually sell for ?
I take it the 1977 Blue Jays were terrible
Interesting item though. Enjoyed seeing some of those names

ok was curious .. i payed $25 for all 4 sheets at the shop and yes they were awful that year
they won 55 games and lost 107 games their inaugural year
You paid a fair price, especially in light of it being the Jays first season
