So since I don't really want to stand in line at the post office now...
Is the a certain self adhesive printer label paper that's preferred over others?
Also where to purchase?
Thanks in advance!

these are very easy to use. You can print straight from ebay, or papyal.com/shipnow.
@Kccoin Thanks so much, glad I asked as with 13.000+ sold I give them a shot
They are a lot cheaper by the 1000!
Awesome a win/win since I can use the spare as emergency TP
why not just print on typing paper and use clear tape to put on label?
I use packing tape and try to not cover the large bar code. Works great for me...no problems yet. Take care...

Taping cost more than the self adhesive labels.
I guess I tape heavy, around all edges and corners on anything I send. And also tape item to invoice with mail to and from addresses.

Can you add insurance with these? I thought that was a po only thing?

Yes! The only thing you have to go to the PO for is registered mail.
Just, Um , be aware which side has the adhesive!
I buy uncut 8½x11 label sheets from onlinelabels.com. I can print 4 postage labels per sheet when I buy postage through shippingeasy.com, and can feed a half sheet through my printer to print 2. I also use these for my attribution stickers.

for those unaware, www.paypal.com/shipnow is a great way to ship USPS and you get a discount when shipping. You can ship any way with insurance/signature required etc, other than registered.
Dymo label printers are 100% worth the investment and you can find the refils for the labels on ebay for pretty cheap
