1939 Palestine 1 Pound Note
I bought this note from the British Mandate of Palestine. The Palestine Currency Board produced banknotes with values of 500 mils, 1 pound, 5 pounds, 10 pounds, 50 pounds and 100 pounds. It’s my first piece of Palestine currency; I’m working on a complete date set of the coinage.

I think the key for these in grading is not the numerical its the EPQ designation
I wonder how many different botanical watermarks were used? Peace Roy

The watermarks are the same on all the notes, and there are only a few different vignettes in the six denominations. All the notes depict the Tower of David on the reverse. The obverses depict the Dome of the Rock, Rachel's Tomb, and Tower of Ramlah.
