NBA suspending play due to coronavirus pandemic
The NBA announced Wednesday night that it was suspended play for all games until further notice, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The ban on games will take place starting Thursday. Wednesday's games will be completed.

it needed to be done, corona is highly contagious, even more so then the common cold or flu, I bet the owners don't like it though

Not to downplay the situation, but the NBA players, young athletes who are fit and healthy, will probably be able to shake it off as though it were a heavy cold. As we all know by know, the problem lies in that this is so contagious that it is most likely to pass on to more susceptible people.
Who would've ever dreamed or imagined that something like this could ever really happen?
