NBA suspending play due to coronavirus pandemic
The NBA announced Wednesday night that it was suspended play for all games until further notice, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The ban on games will take place starting Thursday. Wednesday's games will be completed.

it needed to be done, corona is highly contagious, even more so then the common cold or flu, I bet the owners don't like it though

i am at the Mavericks-Nuggets game right now. most bizarre set of circumstances. the rumor started floating around at the start of the 4th.
at least the Boston players might have enough time to recover if they were infected. corona is no 24 hour flu, it sounds like it takes up to month to recover from it
With the stadium just a quarter full, please tell me you snuck up into better seats at least?

Mavs "fans" sauntered in after i took that picture (opening tip) and it eventually filled up. but i was in the lower level and my seats couldn't have been much better. i have an even greater appreciation for Doncic's game after watching him live -- he has eyes in the back of his head and is quicker, savvier and even thinner than i anticipated. the real deal.

trips to the baño were an adventure, especially after the news broke -- lines were a mile long because people were taking forever & a day to wash their hands

Not to downplay the situation, but the NBA players, young athletes who are fit and healthy, will probably be able to shake it off as though it were a heavy cold. As we all know by know, the problem lies in that this is so contagious that it is most likely to pass on to more susceptible people.
Who would've ever dreamed or imagined that something like this could ever really happen?
