On Facebook and I see a new promotional ad, 1/2oz gold for spot.

The website is offering a CHANCE for $55. 1 random person out of 50 will receive the 1/2 oz AGE, the other 49 will receive a 90% Washington quarter. I guarantee that people are falling for this scam in droves.

Less than $1,000 in PM for every $2,750 taken in.

Not really a scam. Just really, really, really crappy odds. Those odds are great compared to the lottery.

How would anyone know if somebody actually got the 1/2 oz AGE? They could just send quarters to everybody.

Sounds like a type of online lottery, which, unless they did things by the book, is illegal, I believe.
I wouldn't trust anyone running something like that.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
