COIN OF THE DAY (6/25): 1955(p) LINCOLN CENT GRADING PCGS-MS67RD!
I have said repeatedly on numerous threads for more than a year now that the "p" mint Lincolns from 1946-1958 are, without exception, extremely difficult coins to locate in true MS67RD grade. Some dates are nothing short of important "keys" to the entire series (e.g. 1946(p), 1951(p), 1954(p) imho in the MS67RD grade.
The 1955(p) Lincoln has proven to be "right up there" among the handful of toughest Lincolns in 67RD from 1934-58. Fresh OBR rolls of 1955(p) Lincolns have been recently trading at upwards of $160+/roll (check out how cheap the "sheet" is (not) on this date)! In all these years of searching, PCGS has graded a mere 7 or 8 finest known examples in MS67RD (or less including possible regrades?).
