New Pickup! 1758 Shilling with just a little toning!

Just picked this up off eBay and very happy with it. I'm very up in the air on the grade and think it has the chance to be a slider but we shall send it on to our overlords here and see what they say.
Would love to see others shilling if they'd care to share.

Very nice regardless of the grading "opinion" it receives.
This coin calls to me. I won't venture a grade, but I wish you well on your submission.

Here's a 1745 Lima shilling (I hate taking pictures of slabbed coins).
Awesome example man. Those have a neat history behind them.

From that picture it strikes me as a 62.
Great pickup @Clio
Nice coin.
Nice pickup! I'll guess 62-63.
Here's my 1747

Attractive coin... I see it as an MS example. Minimum 62 likely 63. The quality of the fields will dictate the grade. And that quality is tough to gauge in view of the toning. Great George II old head type coin

I love the OP's shilling, as well as the others in this thread. Thought I would add a SSC example. Acquired this from Lord M., so it has a great provenance. PCGS 63+
Since we are sharing the family of coins related to Clios amazing find...I have its twin sister.
only I didn't find mine raw like Clio...got to give him props for having a good eye for quality.
Also....wow! What a coin you have there! Just had to say.

I love both the color and the unattributed overdate. Does anyone have the British varieties book to look this up and see if it is published, 1817/8 or 1817/6 (I go back and forth on it).
Kind regards,
George
Thanks everyone for sharing! Now I just need to buy all of these to make one hell of a type set
That thing is wild. Perfect example of the type! Full details on the reverse which seems rare not to mention the stunning condition and toning!

Thanks, @Clio. I really need to have it professionally photographed. I think I'm pretty good at taking pictures, but I can't begin to capture the opalescent colors or prooflike reverse on this one. Even the video only represents about 1/2 of its colors and luster

Clio... A thread in connection with one of the two 1758 shillings I submitted 4 years ago was resurrected so you can see how PCGS graded it. I will look for the other one...and that other missed MS.
