I really like Topps Vault items. The proofs, negatives, panels, etc., but I think my favorite items are the match print photos. There is something cool about having a photo that the card was made from. Here are a few from my collection, most are Gary Carter, but I've got a couple Yankees sprinkled in.

I'll add more to the thread later, share them if you've got them!

Dan, do you have any Topps Vault items in your baseball collection? I know your football stuff is awesome.
No, I only collect one player (Yaz) and have been outbid on a few of his items.

Dan, I know that your Yaz collection is the primary piece of your collection and that you are, by and large, a player collector. I'm curious, how do you stay focused enough to just stick to Yaz? I'm a player collector as well, but I am constantly fighting the temptation to let one player collection create another. Is it just that Yaz is so far and away your favorite player or is it simply a matter of focus?
It does help that Yaz is my favorite player of all time, with nobody close, but you’re giving me too much credit in the focus department. In baseball, I also collect Venezuelan Topps, plus I have 3 football player collections.

I only collect Joe Louis cards these days. I used to collect a lot of basketball and football, but I've just become obsessed with Joe Louis. I go through withdrawal symptoms if I don't buy a card of his for too long a period of time. My wife is jealous of Joe. I need professional help.
I suffer from this too. Aside from the new issue stuff that I now mainly collect because I almost feel obligated to, new stuff doesn't pop up too often that I need or that really excites me. It's easy to start looking elsewhere. I love just about anything oddball, so it doesn't take much to see me buying anything and anyone.
I have a few print photos for Garvey that match cards, but I don't have them scanned for show off unfortunately.
If you ever dig them out I'd love to see them. Garvey had some of my favorite cards of the 70's and early 80's.
