COINS MAKE CENTS

What's going on here with this large cent? These lines are raised but I'm having a hard time thinking it's a die clash, because what it is classed with? Are these lathe lines maybe?

On half dimes, we often call raised parallel lines like this "file marks".
But we're not completely sure about their origin.
Lathe lines should be more circular.
They are too large for die polish so file marks works for me. Strong lines as this are found on many large cents of different dates. Your coin is the N-19 variety.
From my group- "Those are die lines, caused by the engraver who polished the dies. They are a characteristic of that particular die, and are invaluable in attributing late date large cents; all coins made from that die have - or had - those lines".
