Just got a 5% in app Ebay bucks promotion this morning. I havent received any in a long time. I wonder if the days of the 8 and 10% bucks are a thing of the past?

it sure looks like it. they need the 8 and 10 percent to offset the state tax for most people though
This is only my second offer of the first quarter. The other one was only 5 percent, also. I had previously been receiving the 8 and 10 percent offers almost weekly in 2019.

I have only received 5% a few times in the last few months. Nothing of the 8% or 10% varieties. RIP.

Just got a 5% ebay Bucks promotion thru the app that is good thru midnight on March 25th. Does this work on just one single item or can I purchase multiple items during the time given for the promotion? If yes,do they all have to made thru one single checkout?

An offer of 5% off wouldn't even move the "start buying again" needle for me, so 5% in bucks is insulting. I know they don't have to do anything (they should though if they want to stimulate sales), but I still say shame on you eBay.
They are gonna need a 15% bucks offer to make me think about more purchases. Once they started doing taxes, anything less than 10% simply offsets taxes and is not an incentive.

I guess the 5% offer is better than nothing but it doesn't even dent the sales tax on any purchases I would make. eBay should be giving bigger offers especially with the current crisis. I am sure eBay is not hurting for cash and it can help out sellers whose only income right now might be on eBay.
Barely offsets taxes for me! In PA, the tax is 6%. The last few bucks offers were 5%. Slap in the face.
