Claims to have passed a JSA Auction House certification... need more unbiased opinions. Thoughts?

"Claimed" ... I wouldn't pay attention to anything in the autograph field that is "claimed". It needs firm, written authentication by an accepted authority.

The guy has the auction house letter of authenticity that says “Mickey mantle OAL Brown” on it but I don’t have any way of knowing if it was ~this~ ball that was authenticated...

  • Hmmm..."claims" to have passed a JSA Auction House certification huh? Sounds like no ppwk then. This is a gamble, but if it's low enough that you could bear the loss, the dividends if authenticated as real could be worth it. It just really sucks because there's so many Mantle forgeries out there, the prospect of it being such is more likely than being authentic. Good luck on this.

It sounds to me like there is no reliable authentication. Pass.
