Great video. That was a great Vikes team and Bud Grant was a great coach. I loved his style and would love to have a HC like him in Dallas now.

20 year career and started every game, had 127 sacks (unofficial, sacks only officiall since 1982) and with 30 fumble recoveries, he ranks second all-time among defensive players in the statistic, behind Rod Woodson.

Only went to 2 pro bowls, but with Eller and Page getting there every year, possibly the voters didn't want to pick 3/4 of the Vikings D line?

He is considered somewhat of a "compiler"..........ok whatever.

He should be in, but I guess he wouldn't be considered a "top tier" guy.

I remember watching that team play and think he should be in. The 3/4 argument doesn't wash with me.
