Sighted in California, it's been dubbed "Research & ID". :/

Strength in numbers guys, who else has been stuck there for weeks? I've now entered into week 6, but my submission was collected 2 months ago. Man, they sure are having a helluva time over there. Wonder how many submissions they've received since the new year began.

I plan to do a 50 card bulk order in a few weeks, is there a difference in times for 50 or 100?

I haven't done a bulk order in a few years and 6 months does seem really slow.

The only info regarding delayed process times that I saw was this:

    Estimated Turnaround Times

    Impacted Services / Business Days
    Reholder 35
    Dual Submission Regular Service 93
    Card Submission Regular Service 60
    Ticket Submission Regular/Econ Service 72
    Pack Submission 100+
    Card Submission Bulk Service 85

I only sent in 15 cards and it's nearing 2 months already. 8(

Yup, my six card CC sub is almost 2 months. It's in QA2, so I should see the grades soon.

If its 2 months that's only 40 business days. They stated 60 in that chart.

And you have to consider any of the holidays they observed within the 2 months time.

Single card (1956 Mays) logged Nov. 14th. Still on step 4. That’s 67 business days so far, I believe. Speculation over on BO is that larger orders are getting precedence, even bulk orders, and there may be something to that based on the results they’re posting.

My 15 card CC renewal arrived in Newport Beach on 12/27, logged on 1/15, and grades popped on 2/24. I'll take it!

    Buy them already graded.

What's the over/under on the next thread whining about turn around times?

What is the typical wait time to transition from Research and ID to the actual grading phase?

I couldn't tell you, but I gather some of the above veterans may have some idea. I'd say LarkinCollector's got it right though, send it in and forget about it, though I still take a look at the end of each business day. I've been in research for weeks.

So my single card review/reholder came back after 70ish business days. That was after a customer service email. The CS email took a week and a half to get a response, but the result was my order getting “red flagged”, and after that it popped and shipped within a couple days later.

It might be worth the CS route if you’re well beyond the stated average turnaround times.

PSA is working on the weekends it appears. My order moved from assembly to QA check 1 today. Nice to see.

Well Ok then! Grading to Assembly in 3 work days, unless Dpeck's assumption is correct, then 5, but who's counting? wink Can light escape the black hole? Looking that way! It's my first ever batch of card subs to PSA folks, I'm pretty stoked. :)

My 500 card premium bulk sub was logged on 1/6 and is still at research and ID. It's a total crapshoot on cycle times. I've had some orders breeze through within a few weeks while others have me waiting for months.

Just had some pack grading get some movement. Packs received 12-10-19 and 3-10-20 moved to grading. Hopefully the wait won't be much longer.

Well, the joyous day has finally arrived. My first ever card submission to PSA is done and on it's way home! Being a complimentary submission, I have zero complaints and the grades are exactly what I expected them to be, all over the place, no dimes, but that's ok. Many of these have been cards from my childhood that I've been dragging around since I left Hawaii for the Army in 1987 and knowing that they're now encapsulated and will be preserved, warms my heart. Now I'm preparing another batch for Collector's Club Special #2! Can't wait to see how this 2nd group does. Take care all. :)
