Long Beach Report

I flew in to Long Beach for the open 12 pm this past Wednesday. Set up with Mr Eureka as another dealer had to have his table canceled so we took over his booth. We both left Friday afternoon.

I was getting into it until a client of mine called me on my cell and asked why we did not own SPCE.....telling me he was going to strangle me ....well that took the bloom off my coin show mindset for awhile as coin shows are very much fun and relaxing for me.

I did end up selling several nice mexican coins ( maybe 8 different coins) and a few others ....also sold a little gold with the price up.

I was proud of myself as I only bought 1 coin ( a gemmy PCGS 66 1888 Prussia crown ) and I took a step into the unknown
buying a 1840 William Henry Harrison Campaign silver medal ......I will post later.

Walked the floor but did not see much I wanted ....Worldwide had some nice coins....don't know where all the high end foreign coins are? Certainly not at this show.

I keep pruning my collection by offering lots to Stacks and Heritage ..........

Of course I am am a admitted addict....so im trying to control myself from spontaneously buying....hard to do ......

Had dinner Wenesday night with Mr Eureka and dinner with Kent Ponterio and Eric Thursday .

Happy to buy dinner for these pros......worth the price to learn from them.
