CAN ANYONE INFORM ME WHAT A NORWAY 1970 MINT SET OF 8 COINS IN AN ACRYLIC CASE IS WORTH? THE ONLY INFO I HAVE IS THAT THEY MADE ONLY 7311 SETS AND THERE IS THREE COINS IN THE SET THAT ARE SOMEWHAT RARE. THE COINS ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE BUT THE ACRYLIC CASE IS NOT.

    It's not a bad set but I doubt you can get the Krause price of $150 for it.

    The earlier issues of these coins are tough in Unc but the 5K is the only tough coin in the set. If it is pristine and choice then you could get as much as $50 for the set FROM THE RIGHT DEALER. Most dealers will offer far less. It will sell for more on eBay probably but you are at the mercy of bidders and thew set isn't scarce enough to be sure you'll have any motivated bidders.
