The money the Red Sox owe the Dodgers

One has to wonder how so much money could be owed to the Dodgers in order to send Betts and Price to the West Coast.

Shades of El Sapo Grande, aka Pablo Sandoval stuff.

Can't help but wonder if the Dodgers won the world series if they would've gone after Betts.

You have to include part of Betts salary in that too as they are aLSO PAYING THE DODGERS TO TAKE HIM Away. I believe his part of it is around 16 million.

Bruce Sutter was no slouch either. Read about the deal he made with the Braves way back when. Google Bruce Sutter deal.

luxury tax works, this is evidence. Whatever "works" means to MLB.

That's 75 million the Sox will not pay. They need a two year reset, surprised they are sort of trying to keep a decent team together (if we don't count pitching :D )
