I inquired about a factory sealed 1989 Donruss Baseball's Best set for $10. I asked the gentleman if he had any other cards and he said he would bring what he had when we met. In addition to the 1989 set he had a couple of small boxes. I didn't dig through them but I saw a box of 89 Sportflics, a 90 Score Rising Superstars, a 88 Score set, a 800 ct box and some random loose junk wax. I asked what I could get for $40 and he said "take it all, I just want it out of my garage." When I got home I ripped through the wax and factory sets, leaving the 800 ct box for last. When I opened it I found a complete NM/MT set of 1975 SSPC. I know it is much less desireable than it's Topps counterpart but it does have 5 HOF Rookies including Eck's only 1975 card. Other than the centering on the Brett and Ryan, the cards were very sharp! Sorry for the cruddy pics.
