Lets see how good you really are at guessing the grades.
The order is still in the processing stage so no grades or pics available during the contest.
Simply guess the grade number only, for each line item.
Prize: W Quarter Lowell MS65 Early Release.

I expect the results at anytime within the next two weeks as it was received on 1-28-20 by PCGS.
Once available I will posts the grades & TrueViews along with the winner.
Hints: This is my 2ond year of collecting and my 9th order. Edited: All coins are roll finds.
The use of ESP is not prohibited. :D
Good luck!

@joeykoins . I hope your right about line 20. That would be a top pop if it actually is a business strike. Problem is I can't tell if it is satin finish or not.

Fair enough. Maybe I should’ve asked for a total number instead but, I want to see the skills working.
It shouldn't be that hard to figure out based on each coins grade populations, top pops, most likely scenarios, and mixed in with the theories of relativity. 🧐

@AstroJoe . Thanks Joe! I hope you are too. But the reality, is that the copper coins are much tougher than the newer zincs when it comes to finding higher grades. My very first order had several in the 1960's (thought I struck gold) and the highest grade was 65 and the rest 64's.
Conversely, when I look at the high grade 1970's in Coinfacts they don't look so good, aside from a few that look under-graded.
E.g. Both of these are MS68 even though the D looks better. But, I guess that's where you get down into the weeds, strike, contact marks, etc...

    Is that your final answer?

I mean, I'm not opposed to giving away another W quarter for a tie.
Maybe I should up the ante to the ms66 W. After all it appears to be a lot of work, lol.

All I know is, I hope you guys are wrong :D
With the experience I do have I wouldn't expect to fall under 66 with any zincs and nothing under 65 on the coppers.
I will say that line 13 has a weak reverse but I sent it in anyway because the obverse looks amazing to me, and that's good enough for me. Great color!

I dont know how you will determine the winner, with a super cool math way I hope. So I will go with an average total of 65.5.
Good luck with your submission, may the grades be in your favor.

Mentioned heads so I thought of this one. It has $ and a few heads involved hence the connection.

A man was driving along the California coast when he saw a police car in his rearview mirror, signaling for him to pull over. He promptly pulled off the road. When the officer reached his window, he politely asked, "Is there a problem, Officer?"
"No problem at all. I just observed your safe driving and am pleased to award you $5,000 as part of our Safe Driver Award campaign. Congratulations! Now what do you think you're going to do with the money?"
The driver thought for a minute and said, "Well, I guess I'll finally go get my driver's license."
The lady sitting in the passenger seat said to the policeman, "Oh, don't pay attention to him- he's a smarty pants when he's drunk and stoned."
The guy from the back seat said, "You guys with your big mouths! I told you we wouldn't make it very far in a stolen car!"
At that moment, there was a knock from the trunk and a muffled voice said, "Are we over the border yet?"

    all details.
    except #14 is 68

That won't even cover the cost unless you give 14 a plus and that'd be allright :)

  • Lost in mail, delivered finally in 2030. I will go half 65 and half 66 lol. Really I have no idea, just wanted to participate.

I'd wish you luck but that would be bad for me, lol. I'm still learning and don't have any idea either, kinda...

Actually, your gonna have to be more specific. Its one thing to guess them all one grade but half and half would be unfair to those who actually selected a grade for each. You could say 1-10 at 65 and 11-20 at 66.
The idea is to get the grade right for each specific coin/line.
So change your answer soon. :)
