1856-K

What is this coin? I would guess the grade to be fine. Looks french to me dated 1856 with K mint mark.

Love the 1885-CC Morgan

1856-K France 10 centimes. K mint = Boudreaux . Looks to have been cleaned at one time. I'm leaning towards VG, but am not a specialist in French coins

This coin was often counterstamped with advertising in England as it was illegal to advertise on English coins but it was Ok to counterstamp French coins, and they circulated in the UK. The French 10 centimes was close in dimensions to the British penny and they were accepted by British merchants at that value,

So is this coin worth a plugged nickel? Is it copper?
