1998-99 Kobe Bryant Finest - Question

Please see photos. I have one with coating, and one without coating. The one without the coating has more of a gold/glossy/embossed back. Is this a "gold version"? Is there such a thing.

There are a couple different versions.

    -1998-99 Finest #175 Kobe Bryant

-1998-99 Finest No Protectors #175 Kobe Bryant

They also each have a refractor variation as well.

    Thanks
    Craig

"Randomly inserted into both series packs at a rate of one in four, this 250-card set parallels the base set. The cards do not feature the "peel" associated with the Finest brand. The card backs are also metallic, to help differentiate. To determine card values, please refer to the multiplier below, coupled with the value of the base card."

You have the base card and a no-protector base, the "no protector" would more aptly be named "finest finish on front and back".

Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.
